CM remembers Lal Bahadur Shastri on his 52nd Death Anniversary

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh today paid tributes to late Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri on his 52nd death anniversary.
Remembering the great luminary of Indian politics, the Chief Minister said, "Let his philosophy of 'Jai Jawan Jai Kisan' continue to guide us and help promote India as a self-sufficient and secure nation."
Exhorting the people to imbibe the values of self-discipline, dedication and hard work promoted by the former Prime Minister, Captain Amarinder described Lal Bahadur Shastri as an epitome of honesty, morality and, above all, simplicity.
A real tribute to him would be to work zealously to ensure overall development and prosperity of our country, he added.
